Our Mission

The International Practice Management Association is your primary resource for information and education on the management of practice support professionals including paralegals in law firms, corporations, and law departments globally. Its mission is to advocate for the effective use and management of these professionals, to promote and enhance the proficiency and professionalism of its members, and to provide practical resources and cutting-edge solutions to the membership, the legal industry, and the public at large on the value of utilization and management of practice support professionals.

IPMA Election 2020-2021

The IPMA Nominations Committee has released its report and recommendations of candidates for the IPMA 2020-2021 Board of Directors. Below you will find information about the candidates and the election.


2020 Nominations Committee Members

The Nominations Committee is composed of at least three Regular Members who are not currently seeking a position as an association officer, representing each of the IPMA divisions, and chaired by the current Immediate Past President.

In accordance with the IPMA bylaws, the IPMA 2020 Nominations Committee sought nominations for the 2020-2021 Board of Directors from members and has released its report.


2020-2021 Nominees

IPMA 2019-2020 President-Elect Lisa Ricchezza, Senior Paralegal and Legal Professional Manager at Dechart LLP in Philadelphia, will automatically assume the role of IPMA President at the 36th Annual IPMA Conference & Expo in October 2020.

Election

All current Regular & Lifetime members are entitled to a vote.

Note: Members will be sent via email credentials for online voting.

The election results will be announced in the weeks leading up to the 36th Annual IPMA Conference & Expo, to be held virtually on October 14-16, 2020.
