Dress for Success New Orleans is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization that works with over 50 New Orleans agencies to identify women who, with a hand up, not a hand out, can gain employment and economic independence. When Dress for Success clients get meaningful employment and economic independence, their families and the entire community benefit.
While you're in New Orleans, you'll undoubtedly collect goodies from IPMA exhibitors, and many conference participants will find themselves out shopping in the French Quarter. As you're packing your suitcase to make the trip, remember you'll need more space for your return trip than you needed when you left. How about you fill that extra space with new or gently used clothing and handbags to donate to the IPMA's charity drive recipient Dress for Success?
What to Donate: New or gently used women's business attire and handbags, along with monetary donations. Handbags can be stuffed with appropriate jewelry, unopened toiletries, unopened makeup, and cash or checks made out to Dress for Success.
Where to Donate: Bring your donations to the IPMA booth or the registration desk onsite at the 33rd Annual IPMA Conference & Expo.
Presenting the Donations: A representative from Dress for Success will accept our donations and address our group during the closing session on Friday, October 13.
Thank you for your participation—we look forward to giving back to New Orleans!
